There's oodles of class here; perfectly balanced, fleshy, rich and concentrated with a delightful creaminess. This wine has undergone a comprehensive winemaking regime including malolactic fermentation and lees stirring ensuring it has complexity and texture. The melon, stone fruit and ripe lemon flavours combine with citrusy crispness at the finish which is suitably dry. If you like the best a sauvignon blanc can offer in a sophisticated package, this is it.

2010 Sauvignon Blanc Prestige Collection Hawke's Bay 

Pale hazy yellow with a green tinge.  Fascinating oily aromas of lime, white pepper and minerals.  Supple, rich and intense in the mouth, but not as complex as the nose suggests.  Shows a strong note of curry powder and a hint of sweetness.  Finishes a bit spiky but this distinctive wine boasts good texture. 88
